 I know that it’s psychologically common (even among us sophisticated spiritual people) to subtly blame our parents, the neighborhood, the media and that bad first marriage for what’s wrong with our lives now. I’ve been noticing lately that the healthiest, most creative individuals aren’t necessarily the ones with the perfect background, they’re the ones who choose to learn from every past relationship and to create powerful, conscious collaboration in their lives now. It’s never too late to have a happy, prosperous life, surrounded by people you respect, admire and grow with!

Choosing your Wealth Team: Money Models, Mirrors and Mentors

Money is a team game—money itself is a neutral tool for communicating the exchange of value between people. When we decide to consciously expand our wealth by building our spirituality, beliefs and habits the relationships from our past, our present and our future can impact our success. Here are the 3 kinds of people we all have on our money team. Your opportunity is to make all of these relationships as collaborative, positive and valuable as possible.

Money Models—your Past. By default, most people either repeat or rebel against the attitudes, actions and financial results of their family, class and social modeling. It’s extremely important to ‘wake up’ and inventory what were the thoughts, emotions, choices that you saw modeled around money, ourselves and the world. Then to decide whether you want to continue to empower that default programming. I encourage you to respect that the modeling you received as both ‘good’ and ‘bad’—and to treat yourself and your past with compassion.

Money Mirrors—your Present. Your time, energy and attention
are precious resources to be invested wisely. Who are you sharing your financial dreams, decisions and transactions with right now? If you want to grow your business, invest in real estate, or launch a non-profit, it is extremely powerful to observe, read about, listen to, and hang with people who are actually doing, being and having what you want. The quickest way to upgrade your money mirrors is to add some time, energy and attention to the networks, people, and stories you want to emulate. (Don’t worry—you still get to hang with your friends and family. But you’ll do it consciously.)

Money Mentors—your Future. One of the twelve Tools we teach in the
Money Keys is ‘Creating your Wealth Expansion Plan’—it’s all about deliberately growing yourself through education, skills, coaching and more. Choose to be a life-long learner and you’ll be a life-long earner. Mentors are those that teach you through information, insight, systems, and skill development. Select financial mentors who are in alignment with your values—and who have world experience that expands you.

Joy’s Journey—Trust God, Get Grateful and Grow! |
 When I started the Money Keys Book Group, I was in the financial quicksand. As I worked harder, expenses went up, not down and more money was going out, not coming in. My business team-mates were frustrated with me for not producing. I was doing, doing, doing with no results.
Stepping back, seeing the money trap of survival mode I had put myself in, I asked myself if I really trusted God. That helped me to slow down, breathe deeper and be aware of the Ever Present Beauty and Intelligence, flowing perfectly, as Creation. Everything is energy vibrating... Feeling disconnected because of the frantic busy wasn’t in alignment with what’s true about the Life I am.
Suzanne guided us in Visioning and I got it! When I am in Joy, celebrating the wonder and awe of Divine Love Intelligence, I am a magnet for prosperity! The action I’m taking to ground that Joy is my commitment to Spiritual Giving. I saw how I had mostly given from duty and not always consistently. I decided to walk my talk and put the vision into practice. Now, as soon as any income comes in, I gratefully take 10% out and celebrate that God had just showed up as money!
An amazing thing happened—immediately the Joy and Peace began to grow. I trust God as my Source... and now I’m working more calmly, making better contacts, managing my expenses with ease and attracting more clients.
I am truly grateful for Suzanne, our Master Coach, for her deep listening and intuitive insights. And to Rev. Karen, for being a passionate, loving instrument of Spirit and allowing the
Money Keys book and group to take form. And to the members of the
